This project was really fun, as our task was to create our 'Dream Shop" and build it in 3D.
At the beginning we had mini group project, which was to create a dress out of plastic bags and present it in a creative window display. As 70's are big this season, we've chosen Studio 54 Disco theme.
Second part of the project was individual work on our "Dream Shop". Some of the students got so into it, they were making proper Barbie houses with furniture, decorations, even hangers!!! I like simplicity and minimalism, that's why my shop looked more modern than very creative.
If I had a chance to open my own shop that would be vintage boutique, where you could mix old with new and contemporary. I was really inspired by Lily Allen's and her sister's vintage boutique in London "Lucy in Disguise". They present beautiful vintage pieces in stylish surroundings which do not overpower the clothes.
